Black is Beautiful Bridal Show
Acrylic Welcome Sign
Let's talk about the making of this beautifully designed welcome sign for your next event! We really enjoyed making this acrylic on black standoffs with white and gold leaf foil mounted on wood. The size shown is about 24 x 48" prefect for a statement, or as always for those that want something unique
WOODEN SIGNAGE
Boy, LW Designs has been hard at work creating new products! Our newest addition to the custom family are stained wooden signs for all your signage needs. This sign was created with maple wood walnut colored stained, with white vinyl lettering. Time consuming but worth every moment! These were just breathtaking at the wedding. We are excited to see these in action.
"For you DIY brides try to figure out how to create these amazing wooden signs. We went to Lowe’s to pick up a few different sizes because we needed a few different ones of course."

We then stained the wood using a walnut colored dark stain and let it dry. I recommend letting it dry for about two days for sure or if your doing it in the winter like I was try to keep it in a warm place so it can dry. After it has dried you can either use a stencil and paint the words, vinyl from the cricut, or if you have a laser cutter you can really make the magic sing.

Choose the font, and try to design the sign as much as possible in designspace. From design space, choose the cut option, weed your words and use the transfer paper and place on your sign. After use a sealer to ensure the vinyl is good to go.

Troubleshooting: if your vinyl won’t stick try letting your wood dry longer. When in doubt come back and visit or we can do the work for you!
